Dependent parents: extra documents

If your parents don't have their own income, they can be sponsored. The sponsor provides employment/income proof plus a notarized affidavit of support.

If staying with family in Italy

If they stay with relatives, the host must complete a host declaration (dichiarazione di ospitalità) with a copy of the host's ID / residence permit.

• Sponsor's employment letter, 3 pay stubs, 3 months bank statements.
• Notarized affidavit of support.
• Proof of relationship (birth certificate showing parents' names).
• Host declaration if staying with family.
